This stopped my iphone from showing the connected iphone popup window in windows when I was sitting by my desk looking at a window.

Thank you for posting this fix. Ihope others find it as well.

It sounds like you’ve not setup your VirtualHost configuration quite right, does the path for DocumentRoot “D:\websites\project\htdocs” exist?

Ensure that you restart WampServer after every configuration change you make within the httpd-vhost.conf file.

Hi,

I try exactly as above, but when i visiting http://www.project.dev/, it apear the wampserver configuration page.

and when i visiting http://www.project.dev/magento/, it apear page not found error.

Any step that i may do wrong?

Another Magento newbie here, early this year my Father-in-law asked if I could create a website where he could sell products on-line and I said yes, I’m happy to help. Throwing advice Drew’s way, he recommend I try Magento and pointed me in this direction. I downloaded the Open Source files from their website, uploaded to the site’s hosting server and got the site up and running (eventually). Now, here I have in front of me, a working Magento store website, where do I start?!
I managed to work out the codes, where they live, what changes what etc, then Drew told me that a book is available and he was asked to review it, so I read the review and am now considering purchasing this book to help me move things quickly as I’m sure my Father-in-law is keen to get this store up and running very soon!

Thanks Drew for the recommendation and Magento for a fantastic Open Source tool!

As a Magento newbie, I was looking for a book that would help me get through the first couple of installations and customisations, and this looks like it could fit the bill.

With most applications I find having a book to hand that you can flick through is a good accompaniment to web-based resources, as sometimes the wikis can throw you all over the place and you quickly lose track.

I’m afraid that this situation had not been resolved.

The advice I would give you is to carefully process your sale and ensure that the purchaser is legitimate before sending your iPhone. Double check that the paypal account and address are confirmed.

If I had waited a few days after the sale before sending my iPhone I would have been notified by eBay to not send the item in time.

I’m sorry to hear about your iPhone. I was hoping to sell mine on eBay as well and came across your blog whilst searching for “how to sell iPhone on eBay” on Google. Can I ask if the situation was eventually resolved? I’m now definitely thinking twice about selling on eBay.
