Sync iPhone with Google Calendar

I’ve tried and tried to find an application that will sync my Google Calendar with my iPhone calendar effortlessly without the need for cables, invoking an application, using iTunes or Outlook.

My requirements are simple:-

  • Sync Google Calendar with my iPhone Calendar

In practice this seemed to allude me, I did find a third party application through my Jailbroken app list but this required me to run the app on my iPhone and request the synchronisation by clicking a button. I can’t for the life of me remember what the app was called but it did 90% of what I was after.

Bring on http://www.nuevasync.com/ ! This web based service managed to get me, my iPhone and my Google Calendar all synched up with a minimum of effort.

The only reservation that I have at this time is that it appears that I can only sync with my iGoogle account and not my Google Apps for andij.com account, for now with this product being in it’s infancy I am more than happy to accept this minor inconvenience.

One Response to Sync iPhone with Google Calendar

I have found an excellent programme called SaiSuke for the Iphone. Not only is it a superb calendar application for the iphone which trumps everything I have previously used, it synchronises with Google calendar instantly. I have been using a Palm T3 for many years and whilst I have had the iphone and really admired all it could do, it could not replace my trusty Palm for diary and sync with the PC. I have now managed to migrate to the iphone completely and with confidence thanks to this cheap and efficient programme.

I cannot recommend Saisuke highly enough.
